Alison Waldman

Alison grew up in Rochester, New York training in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and modern. As a student and Dance Department fellow at Denison University, she continued her studies performing and choreographing numerous dance and theater pieces, including the full-length original musical Norton: The Astonishingly True Story of America's Forgotten Emperor and performances by Denison's first ever tap troupe, which she founded. Alison also received additional training at Pro Danza Italia in Italy and the American Dance Festival. She has had the honor of working with artists such as David Dorfman, Gus Solomons Jr., Stafford Berry Jr., and Jesse Zaritt, and is thrilled to be working with Kelly Mayfield. In the Washington, DC area she has additionally appeared with the Dance Exchange. When she's not in the studio, on stage, or on the salsa dance floor, Alison works as an Editorial Assistant for the nonprofit website SparkAction.org.
